Over the years countless images have graced the pages of skateboarding magazines across the world.
Here in the UK, 'Skateboard!', 'R.a.D.', 'Document' and 'Sidewalk (Surfer)' have been the main publications part of every skateboarders diet, with torn out pages and posters gracing bedroom walls around the country.
Before now it was impossible to get these iconic images all in one place, but here at Vetika we're working with some of the most famous UK skateboarding photographers to make those images accessible.
Each month, more photographers are joining and more photos will be released, each printed on high-quality archival photographic paper and suitable for mounting and display.

Neil Smith - Backside 50-50 by Lex Kembery
We went back on Sunday afternoon and warmed up out front before heading round the back to set up. I knew there was a pretty high chance we would get moved on so I set up sharp. As I was putting a flash up the security guard came out the building. My heart sank and I knew what was coming, I got chatting to him and he even said ‘I love skateboarding, I think it’s a great sport’ we shook hands and he gave us 15 minutes. We were ready to go smiffy had ollied over the hubba it on to the super rough landing, which was gnarly in itself just to ‘warm up with’.
I was about to shoot a Polaroid to check it all when four Network Rail guys came out on their radios saying ‘You need permission, you can't do this here’. We bought time by saying the security guard gave us permission and they didn’t really know what to do then. So they got on their radios, the only words I heard were ‘Police and quick’.
I grabbed my camera and the next events were like a nightmare/dream sequence. I looked up at a big group or tourists watching with camera phones. In the run out of the hubba, Network Rail idiots and our crew. To my right was Morph. Morph said ‘Just do it smiffy!’.
That said, he just did it, like that. Bang - 50-50 first go!
I was actually speechless.
Best moment in skateboarding I have witnessed. Smiffy is UNREAL."

Benson - Lein Tailslide by Lex Kembery
We had all be up for over 24 hours in the desperate search of last minute bangers. We ended up at this homemade BMX Park, which is super rough and gnarly. It was 6:30 am and Benson and I were shooting this lein tailslide, when we heard some cackling. I looked around to see Cates semi jogging holding a can of petrol coming towards us. Cates asked Benson about doing the trick with the top on fire, he replied ‘aye man’. With the coping alight and me stood in the run-out, Benson handled it like a machine and this of course meant he had to do it with the flames twice the size!
More and more petrol was poured onto the top and when it was alight I could feel the heat more than six foot away. He even did it again right away, amazing!"

Nick Jensen - Backtail by Lex Kembery
The whole way in the car I was trying to imagine what the spot was like. When we got there I was so stoked on the building, it just looked epic with the rusty scaffolding, plywood falling off the boarded windows etc. To me being from the country it looked so London and grimy, which was perfect as this was for Nick's 'Hometown' article in the June 2007 issue of Sidewalk. The best bit had to be the cockney geezers in the pub across the road screaming ‘REAM!!’ when Nick did a back tail. Strictly business.
We met up, rolled to the spot, set up, shot the photo and then on cue it started to rain.
Perfect."
