Over the years countless images have graced the pages of skateboarding magazines across the world.
Here in the UK, 'Skateboard!', 'R.a.D.', 'Document' and 'Sidewalk (Surfer)' have been the main publications part of every skateboarders diet, with torn out pages and posters gracing bedroom walls around the country.
Before now it was impossible to get these iconic images all in one place, but here at Vetika we're working with some of the most famous UK skateboarding photographers to make those images accessible.
Each month, more photographers are joining and more photos will be released, each printed on high-quality archival photographic paper and suitable for mounting and display.

Conhuir Lynn - Backside Ollie by Rich Gilligan
"This was shot in Bushy Park in Dublin, Ireland's first real concrete skatepark.
Conhuir was travelling around with Dominic Deitricht whilst they toured Ireland in a VW camper van for a week. This particular picture was taken at the end of the trip when everyone was pretty exhausted.
Seconds after landing it the heavens opened up and the place was completely washed out."
The photo was the front cover of issue #1 of 'The Wizard', Irelands first skateboard magazine.

Shane Cross - Switch Ollie by Andy Horsley
"This was shot during the Flip tour in 2006, in Liverpool. Geoff (Rowley) had found the spot on a reccy mission when he was seeing his parents - there were a load of concrete slabs piled up near the docks, the way they were stacked created all these different gaps.
You can't really see them but Shane was wearing these awful chef's trousers (made by Flip (I think)).
But don't let the trousers put you off the photo."

John Rattray - Frontside Carve by Andy Horsley
"This was shot in in Rekjavic, Iceland, in 2000. It was a Blueprint tour with me, Colin (Kennedy), John (Rattray) and (Paul) Shier.
The pipes were on the back of some trucks, there were 3 of them. We stumbled upon them whilst on the way to the skatepark. It's incredibly rare to find the inside of a fullpipe all white, usually they're a horrible rusty colour but these must've been for flour or soup or something. They were super clean until John got in there.
Rattray was the only person to skate it, he climbed up and started pumping around so I got my camera out. We were all done in like 5 minutes.
This shot ended being on the cover of Sidewalk for July 2000.
Around the same day we were doing a demo for some 'extreme' event and Ian Brown was playing there. We were in the green room round the back sat in one corner and Ian Brown was sat in the other. I dared John to interview him so he got up, walked over and said to him
'What's the magic word?'
Ian Brown said
'Abracadabra'
John turned around and just walked off. Classic."
