Dominic Marley
"The fact that he loves what he's doing is evident from his photos. Dom can get a photo at a spot he hasn't been to and make it look the way he'd like - no problem. He has a skateboarder's eye which isn't available on the Internet and that shines through.
My favourite photos are the ones he has thought of long beforehand. Found the spot, thought who he'd like to shoot and let the idea burn for a while. The image almost there in his retina already by the time he goes to shoot. Some involve props, some involve puddles and rogue drivers but they all involve Marley's eye.
Dom is currently staff photographer at Kingpin magazine and living in London, travelling and always excited working on new projects. I'm sure if you were to say to Dom "Would you rather be known as a funny man or a great photographer?" His answer would always be the same: to him they're not mutually exclusive."
